Information you provide
We receive the information you submit when creating an account, choosing newsletter preferences, using a creative tool, or contacting us. This can include your name, email address, work category, brand and project details, references, and saved tool content. Please share only information you have permission to provide.
Google sign-in
When you choose Google sign-in, Google provides basic account identity information, such as your name, email address, profile information, and an account identifier, to authenticate your Studio Tokyo account. Newsletter signup uses this basic identity flow; it does not request access to your Gmail inbox, Google Drive files, or calendar. You can manage third-party access in your Google Account settings.
Newsletter choices
Creating or signing into an account does not subscribe you to Friday Flight. We record your newsletter signup and preferences when you submit the newsletter form. Newsletter systems can record delivery, opens, link activity, referral information, and subscription changes. You can use the unsubscribe or preference links in an email to stop newsletter delivery. Unsubscribing does not close your tools account.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate accounts, save and deliver tool work, respond to requests, send communications you requested, maintain newsletter preferences, understand service performance, and prevent abuse. When a tool uses an AI service, the inputs needed for that task may be sent to the configured provider to produce the requested output. Avoid submitting sensitive personal information or confidential client material without appropriate permission.
Service providers and storage
We use providers including Vercel for website hosting and performance analytics, Supabase for authentication and data storage, Google for optional sign-in, and Resend for email delivery. Other providers may support the specific tools and integrations you choose to use. Information may be processed in countries where we or those providers operate. Provider access is used to operate the requested services.
Cookies and technical information
Essential cookies and similar storage maintain login sessions and tool preferences. We also use website performance and usage analytics. Technical records may include browser and device information, request times, referral information, and connection data needed to operate and protect the service.
Retention and your choices
We retain account, tool, and subscription records for service operation and applicable business or legal requirements. Suppression records may be retained to respect unsubscribe requests. You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, or closure of your account. Some records may need to be retained for security, consent history, or legal obligations.
Security and changes
We use technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee complete security. We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies this version; material changes to the way information is used will be communicated where appropriate.
