Form & negative space
The monochrome asset uses separation to retain the three-part structure that color normally explains. That is a useful reminder: one-color reproduction needs its own attention.

Documented process
Pentagram simplified the interlocking circles for digital use while preserving recognition. The team tested the red, yellow and orange across backgrounds and paired the system with FF Mark. The study focuses on the 2016 identity, with the standalone symbol isolated for analysis.
